SCARS OF SOMATIZATION

This collection explores how the body expresses what the mind represses. Emotions we cannot voice due to fear, shame, or social pressure manifest physically through tension, rigidity, or distortion.
Using textile manipulation, I give form to this somatization: rigid structures reflect self-protection; asymmetry reveals emotional rupture. Each garment becomes a body an embodiment of repressed emotion and the body's inevitable release.
The body never stays silent.
This collection is its voice.
